TRUE INSTRUCTOR

THE WAY OF THE TRUE INSTRUCTOR

In almost every dojang, you will find posters telling students how to behave.

Respect. Discipline. The Tenets.

But where are the posters for instructors?

After nearly 60 years in Martial Arts, I have seen too many instructors who teach the right words… but do not live them.

Rank does not make you a leader.

Titles do not make you a teacher.

And authority does not earn respect, your character does.

Your students are not listening to what you say.

They are watching what you do.

So ask yourself:

Are you the example your students deserve?

This is not about criticism. This is about responsibility.

Because being an instructor means one thing above all:

you are there to serve your students, not the other way around.

I created this poster as a reminder.

Not for students… but for us.

Print it. Hang it in your office. Read it every day.

And most importantly:

LIVE IT!!!
