Teukgong Moosool is the modern official system of self-defence of the South-Korean Special Forces. Teukgong Moosool was developed in 1978.
Teuk : Special
Gong : Attack or Power
Moo : Martial
Sool : Art or Techniques
There is a great freedom in the execution of the Teukgong Moosool techniques. In its techniques you can find elements of Taekwondo, Hapkido, Yudo, Kumdo and Kwanjol Sul (Manipulation of the joints). It was designed to give the participators the advantage of facing a variety of combat situations, with or without the use of weapons.
It is a serious system for participators with an open mind, who honestly wish to develop in a higher level of training. Teukgong Moosool is a real and effective discipline of self-defence where body, mind and spirit in an attitude of passive alert are united.
Our chief instructor of the International Department is Kim, Je-Wook (6th Dan). This International Department is located in Yong-In (Kyong-Gi Do). Chief Master Kim, Je-Wook is also head of Daehan Moosoolwon (The Korea Martial Art Academy).
